B.C. Rich Virgin (Platinum Series) Reviews 4

My father bought this guitar for me as a graduation present when I graduated from high school. I was with him at Willis Music when he bought it for me. It original price on the guitar was $510.00, but since I'm really good friends with the manager, he marked it down to $390.00 and threw in a guitar strap for free. I mean, how cool is that!

There are a lot of things I like about this guitar. It has a great skull-crushing death metal distinct tone to it, it stays in tune whenever I put a new set of strings on it, it has a really cool shaped body and headstock, and it can handle a lot of abuse.

There are a few things I dislike about this particular guitar. The wood at the top of the "Widow Headstock" chips off very easily as compared to other B.C. Rich guitars, sometimes the nut will slide off when I'm puting new strings on it, and sometimes the nut on the output jack (or as I call it the output jackass)will loosen whenever I hook it up to my other equipment.

This guitar is well constructed, and it can handle a lot of abuse. The only problem with it I had was the wood chipping off, the nut sliding off, and the nut on the output jackass loosening. Other than that, it has great sound quality and the tone kicks a lot of ass!

Overall, this guitar is an excellent death metal guitar. It looks cool, stays in tune, and has a kick ass tone. Like their slogan says "BADASS GUITARS FOR BADASS PEOPLE".
